I grew up in Concord, Ohio with my parents, Pam & Bernie Barovian, and my younger sister, Beth.

You can view my graphical family tree including my generation and

- Paternal lineage: Bernard Barovian
Joseph Barovian: This side of my family originated from Litmanova,
a small village located in northeastern Slovakia, in the Carpathian mountains,
near the border of Poland. My ancestors were a few of the many Litmanovans who
immigrated to the U.S and settled on the east coast and in the eastern midwest.
My grandpap, Joseph Barovian, was a first generation American. His father and
mother immigrated from Slovakia in 1907 and 1909, respectively.
I would next to nothing about this quarter of my lineage, were it not for Nick Benyo's
Litmanova Roots web site. His
research efforts are directly responsible for sparking my interest in
genealogy.
Virginia Stella Kowalczyk: This side of my family originated from
Poland. My grandma, Virginia Barovian, is a first generation American.
- Maternal lineage: Pamela Dawn Sawyer
Donald Dean Sawyer: This side of my family originated from Great Britain.
My 10th great-grandfather, John Russell, immigrated from England in the early 1600s.
Norma Arlene Frost: This side of my family originated from Great Britain.
My 10th great-grandfather, George Frost, immigrated from England in 1623/1624.
